Chocolate Popcorn Balls Recipe


Whoever discovered chocolate and popcorn never could imagine that together they would make sure a delicious treat.


Ingredients:

5 Cups Popped Corn

1/4 Cup Water

1 Cup Sugar

3 Tbsp. Margarine or Butter

1/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup

3 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate, melted

Candy Thermometer


Directions:

Make the popcorn, and pour into a large bowl.


Boil water, sugar, butter, corn syrup, and chocolate and cook until 254 degrees F.  Pour the mixture slowly over the popped corn.  Mix quickly before it cools.  Once thoroughly mixed, butter your hands and shape into balls.
