Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Rice Crispy Treats Recipe
Perfect for any occasion these chocolate chip and peanut butter rice crispy treats, go so fast, you’ll get whiplash.
Ingredients:
2 Cups Corn Syrup
2 Cups Sugar
18 oz. Peanut Butter
8 Cups Rice Krispies
6 oz. Butterscotch Morsels
6 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Bring the syrup and sugar to a boil.
Add the peanut butter, stirring until well blended.
Remove mixture from the heat and pour over the cereal. Make sure to mix quickly and thoroughly.
Pour in Butterscotch morsels and chocolate chips, stirring in thoroughly, but save enough of each to sprinkle over the top later.
Spread the mixture into a greased 9x12x2” pan. Then sprinkle the remaining butterscotch and chocolate morsels over top.
When cool, cut into bars and store at room temperature.
